New monitor?
So I'm in need of a new monitor.
I've had this same 19" monitor for about 5 years now, it's time for an upgrade.
I was think about this:
Newegg.com - SAMSUNG S23A350H ToC Rose Black 23" 2ms Full HD HDMI LED BackLight LCD Monitor 250 cd/m2 DCR 1,000,000:1 (1,000:1)
Any other suggestions? This will be my christmas present (parents don't want to spend over 250, I'm also getting a mouse).

Awesome, thanks man...I'll put it on the wishlist.
Off topic: I think I'm going to save up some money and buy myself that Asus Transformer tablet....looks really cool.

Re: New monitor?
Eh I already have a relatively newish high end card that runs BF3 at around 70FPS on ultra/high....I don't need another card personally.
But that tablet apparently has a built in GPU so you can download games off this Nvidia program.
Really neat.

Re: New monitor?
Back on topic, I just yesterday received the Newegg.com - Asus VH238H Black 23" Full HD HDMI LED Backlight LCD Monitor w/Speakers 250 cd/m2 ASCR 50,000,000:1 (it was $30 less with promo code just a few days ago). I got it to take advantage of the HDMI output of my GPU. Initial impressions are very positive; it has several presets that pretty well cover any need (Normal, Theater, Gaming, etc.). Very clear and bright, nice size, and no dead or stuck pixels.
