Thread: Need litlle help here guy's

Hi guys
Does this happen to anybody else?
When i try to run everything on ultra with HBAO MSAA AAx4 i just hear a weird sound and then the PC shuts down .
My specs :
AMD Phenom II X6 1100T BE @4.0GHZ cooled by Antec H2O load @45 Celsius
12Gb Corsair DDR3 @1333Mhz
Crossfire AMD Sapphire 6870
OCZ Vertex 3 80Gb SSD
Cooler Master real power 850W
and four adittional HD's up to 6TB

I dont know what is wrong ,but somehow it just shuts down the momment i put everything at highest resolution the PC shuts completly down.
Any help is appreciated.
Oh and why does it says in AMD Vision control center that i have 8 GPU's when i have two 6870 Crossfire ..check SS!

Power supply unit? I'm no pro but running two of those video cards might be eating up some power when under load? It's either that or some driver issue IMO.

Possibly also a result of you running things on ultra... My understanding is that two gtx 580s are needed in sli to run bf3 on ultra at acceptable frame rates...

Killbox, ask a mod to move this to the PC section. It will get more attention.

I dont know about the PSU , it have to be enough i think ,is there any benchmarking program that allow you to see or measure the ussage of the PSU.

No sound at all it just reboot´s staright away and the latest driver have been used

Have you checked the Windows log to see if it has a record of the error?

Yes ...just the ussual message delivered when the PC is unproperly shut down.
