Getting internet through my Laptop

Make sure your PC network drivers are up to date.

Make sure LAN is enabled on your router.
With PC connected to the router see if your can ping the router.

For all this are you talking about my laptop(that is supposed to give the connection) or my gaming computer(the thing getting the internet via ethernet from laptop...)

If you are having trouble, make sure you are enabling internet sharing on your wireless adapter, not the ethernet adapter. Then you can connect your PC to the ethernet on the laptop, and laptop to wireless, and there you have internet. I did this for my first month and a half up here at school.

I'm still curious as to why the router isn't working. I'd just fix or replace that. Again,maybe the hard wire is bad? Not common but not impossible. If the ethernet connect on the PC went bad, you can by a replacement internal nic (PCI/PCI Express...)
