Thread: Inviting People

I don't always respond, although my computer is always on and I'm not always there. And it gets tedious having to tell 7 people individually that I can't play because their mother is over entertaining me.

My beef is with the "event" starters on the group page. They start an event while I'm in a non-steam game and it will send me to desktop, minimizing my game. The same exact thing can be done by using the "announcement" instead. It is also quicker. I do not log off of steam because I like getting invites when I am playing other games, and the invites don't really bother me at all... just the damn events. A little message sound now and then isn't bad. Getting minimized when in a fight for the win in another game is awful. Another thing you can do if the message sound is annoying you is just disable the sound of messages.


Either that or people can have common sense and stop spamming. :P
