Thread: Freezes all the time

I couldn't run neither Fallout 3 nor Sims 2 under XP (nor L4D obviously) and now both of them run perfect under Vista. This is really strange, but I think it has to do with the motherboard drivers (remember I tried L4D, Fallout 3 and Sims 2 under a CLEAN installation of Vista; maybe you installed some drivers?)

Ok. I have exactly the same problem as Gaba_p. As described with the sound and lag with the same timings... and guess what? I have a MSI K9AGM3 (-F or -FD, I don't know) motherboard too!! :P Latest chipset drivers, bios, nvidia drivers and stuff like that.

Well. I've just been trying to make the game work, It's for my little brother and I leave in like 15 minutes and don't come to visit very often. Can't give any more detailed info than this. Btw, any other game works fine. (Ok, Ok, only tested Oblivion and Fallout 3).

And yes. I will not install Vista, as I've just installed XP because Vista wouldn't play his Oblivion and stuff.

My gut tells me it's some thing to do with cool and quiet but nothing really other then that.
