Thread: I can see too much!

I think I've narrowed the problem to my older Nvidia card, but I thought I'd post this anyway. Here's a video of me in the subway. I thought this amount of light was normal until I watched some other youtube videos. The game runs rather smoothly on low graphics settings. I turned up the graphics and can see the dynamic shadows and such, but the game slows down. That doesn't affect the lighting issue though.

Update your gfx drivers and directx. (dxwebredist).
"But I already have DirectX 10.1!" - Doesn't matter, update anyway.

I just switched out video cards with another one I had around. The game looks normal now. It's a lot more scary and I'm probably gonna suck at it now

Yeah the game configures itself to run best with your hardware.

Oddly enough, I have a 6800 Ultra and I still get the dark and scary, I just don't have the old time film overlay.
