    Do a ram test,

    Google Memtest and run that overnight. sounds to me like possibly one of your ram sticks is causing the error.

    Lemme know what comes up please

    Have updated all drivers, removed all background programs and processes, shutdown Norton AV, closed xFire, etc. Problem still persists. HELP!

    Very Old Problem... just throwing the file name into google quickly gives you the answer.

    Here's what to do to fix it:
    Desktop-> Properties-> Settings-> Advanced-> ASUS

    Turn off ASUS OSD, and ASUS Splendid.

    OSD and Splendid are both video altering software that is supposed to enhance the "experience". OSD allows you to set Brightness/Contras/Gamma. Splended allows you to set various coloring options.

    Ran Memtest overnight (approx 8 hrs) with zero errors.

    Yes, that was exactly the problem Mytheral. Turned off ASUS OSD, and ASUS Splendid and now it works perfect. MANY THANKS!
