I think you have to shoot her in the head with shooty and make every single pellet hit her.

Now I gotta figure a way to get the man vs tank achievement.

That one should be rough....I killed a tank by myself yesterday...but my cursed teammates were still alive, just incap'd....no achievement for me.

Luckily for me I managed to get this achievement on my first attempt as well. I ran up to the witch with my light off so that I had less chance of disturbing her (and I could see fine anyway), stood right next to her as I aimed while she got up, framed her head with my auto-shotgun crosshair and clicked. After trying to shoot her in the head with my hunting rifle from a distance (in my early L4D days) I had figured that the only way to do it would be to try and get the most powerful weapon aimed right against her head (like when Trinity shoots the Agent off of Neo on The Matrix!). And I had already found out that she gets up slowly no matter how close to her you are or how much noise you're making, so there was plently of time to aim. =P

I remember the joy in my voice after seeing the achievement on my very first attempt. It was just a loud "Oh! YEAH! "
