    Screen shot and system specs please.

    System specs (especially video card) to know what hardware you have, and screenshot to know the level of brightness we're talking about.

    I could be wrong on this, but it might be the shadows - notice in that picture that there aren't any? My brother wanted to try this game on his rather low end PC, so I installed it for him and he had to run it with the shadows off, which gave the same effect as the picture above. Try navigating to your menus and see if it's turned on. If it's not, turn it on and play again. You could well face a low framerate, but if it all looks good, you know the problem - the shadows need to be turned on and if you can't run the game with them on smoothly, you need a new video card. If they're already on, I'm really not sure what the problem could be. All I could suggest is a graphics driver update...

    erm, i dont know is it me or what but my post just got deleted or something. (or i actually did not even post at all)

    but anyway,

    @Zarphor92: i downloaded the driver after 22/1/09 so its quite recent. (although the specs say otherwise but checking at the Nvidia web jus shows the latest drivers which i already downloaded) Probably not the driver's fault then. By the way, what do you mean by changing of shadows on/off? I did not get that option in my video settings (advanced) in-game. FYI, playing on other games like COD5 works well with the shadows in-game.

    @04artwil: No fun without shadows
