    A Geforce 2? Wow, that takes me back.

    Amongst other problems, your RAM is nowhere near the 1GB you need to run L4D on PC - you've got 256MB, which is only 25% of what you need. Also, your graphics card is, well, ancient - I'm amazed you've been running games on it this long.

    Replace your RAM and video card, and you may fare a little better.
