In a videogame where you need to get from Point A to Point B, hanging out in Point A for 20 minutes makes the game not fun.

I would go to an apartment with a gun and an axe, force everyone to leave in the apartment building and the i'd destroy the steps to the second floor therefore no zombies can get up onto the floor then i'd fill all the bath tubs and sinks with water (in case the water stops working) find a generator and a bunch or gas and hold out as long as i can. Rinse and repeat.

My garage is about 3 meters from my bedroom window

I could place some ladders from my window, over to my garage roof ^_^

Then i have a mahoosive tree a few meters away from the garage.

well...the first thing i would do: get a couple flash lights to keep in my pockets.
then i'd get the machete from under my brothers bed.
then i'd call my friends (if i was able to).
then i'd guard the house.

i might even try to find a clearish path that i could take (one without zombies) and go to a friends house (he only lives like, a block away).

But seriously, a zombie outbreak should be handled like any other doomsday scenario. Get in your fall-out shelter. Pull out your MREs and your months worth of water. And you're set!

What? Don't told me you guys haven't prepared for this!? Everyone should have at least a fallout shelter and a whopping shovel. ^_^
