Thread: After you die...

i think it would be sorta sweet if after you or another survivor died they reanimated... of course later on you would still be rescued in some closet somewhere, but just imagine blowing off Zoey or Bill's undead head?
Classic zombie film dilemma, you know, killing one of your friends once they have gone zombie.

It's already been said they are immune, so that doesn't work. Also, reanimating in versus would make the game horribly unbalanced and easier for the survivors than when the game was on normal.

I don't think he meant for the "reanimated" zombie to be playable. Just it pops up as an AI zombie with a different model to fit the survivor. Not a terrible idea, kind of funny. But yes, it has already been said that the survivor is immune..

(Perhaps they could only be immune as long as they're still alive..perhaps after they die the immunity dies too, seeing as their body is no longer functioning?)

I didnt mean that. I meant when he said that you would be rescued in a closet later. If that were in versus it would suck. Campaign would be fine however.

If this were added in campaing it would be sweet. I think your team mates should be stronger than the normal zombies though. That would make it sweeter.

Ah, yes. I agree. I don't think it would be a problem in versus, though. I think OP was talking mostly about campaign if he mentioned the closet.. in either one it would work, though. Even though killing your friend then just having them come back 10 minutes later does kill the immersion a bit (for anyone that is a sucker for details anyway.)

yes, what i meant was in the campaign mode, not versus. Just an idea to add a little spice to the game. Of course not everyone is going to agree because the game is great the way it is and I dont think it can get much better.
