ability to change lobby leaders
i've had thins game on the 360 about since it came out and there's still one thing that bugs the crap out of me. i'll be sitting in the lobby waiting for a game to start and when it gets about seven players you should probably start it right? maybe wait a little bit for the last guy. except i seriously can not even count how many times the lobby fills up and we just sit and wait... everyone is yelling in their mics "START THE GAME ALREADY!" with no response. happens to me at least three times a day.
i have a simple solution for this, have a majority vote button to change leaders. kinda like the veto map button is cod 4 or halo 3. all it would do is give the lobby to another person in hopes of getting the game started.

It's an ok plan, that would however leave the issue of being booted off your own server. I'm not gonna give you my bandwidth if you're going to Veto my ass.
The issue I find here is not that people don't start servers. It's that the majority of L4D players expect the game to start the second someone presses "start game", not realising that there is a big ass "serching for dedicated server" message up top.

well it wouldn't necessarily kick them form the game, but the fact that they're most likely not even in the room for x minutes would get them kicked when it finally starts. on the xbox you can look at the players profile and it'll say "so and so is away for 36 minutes." usually means they got up and left haha.
and i don't know how many times we've had a full room and it will say "searching for dedicated servers" and people will leave cause they don't realize what it means, like you said.
