    Disarming pipe bombs?

Well it just hit me that like most conventional beeping explosives, it is possible to disarm them. Now a pipe bomb is made simple for simple people, after all they're all over the place in this game with wires hanging out everywhere xD

So wouldn't it be possible to disarm one? and add to strategy somewhat in this game as well or even mend the mistakes of throwing one in an area not very well crowded.

Of course it would take time, the pipe bomb explosion sequence lasts maybe 7 seconds? perhaps a 3-4 second delay for disarming in the case that if a horde is around it, you can't just own the horde in 1 second and pick it up instantaneously. It would also add an element of danger as a pipe bomb exploding in your hand is considered a bad thing in many parts.

    thoughts?

It may be a little too complicated. Besides, if you throw a pipe bomb and realize that u didnt need to throw it, than you shouldnt be allowed to throw them in the first place.

It be cool if you could wire trap them, horde comes to bum you from behind so you set a wired pipebomb trip at the edge somewhere, it goes boom!

I wish I could carry a molo and a pipebomb.

Really though, the game besides being teamwork based is also survival based, and if a stupid person tosses a pipebomb in a bad place, maybe a smarter one could disarm it.

It's also do wonders for placing them just right on vs. when some idiot blocks off the way with a tractor or soda machine

Not really a good idea... some things once done cant be reversed.
Kinda like trying to put the pin back into a grenade after you pulled it out.
Even if your teammate can disarm it... does he/she like getting mauled by zombies running for it? Im pretty sure not.

Made a mistake by throwing at the wrong time? Learn from it! Everyone makes mistakes from time to time.

Agreed with Magister and I do not think anyone would run to a trown grenade to disarm it, it is just too risky in itself.
Approve or Disapprove, it is all lies and truthes, but nothing is nothing even not the word.

well though i agree that it's nonsensically dangerous to run after a live grenade, it seems to me the pipe bomb in itself is detonated electronically o.o in that case, it should be in the realm of possibility to quell the explosion with a cut wire or something, no?

Actually, you CAN put the pin into a grenade once you pull it out....but once you throw the grenade (which is our pipe bomb) it's literally impossible to defuse. And the whole reason it is impossible to take back any move is because it helps you grow. Remember, Valve wanted to make this game as realistic as possible (as if guns and small piles of ammo yielding no end are realistic...)
