help with performance

may someone tell me what is preventing me from playing left 4 dead on everything set to max with 1900x1200?

my computer specs are

Windows Vista
Processor: AMD Phenom(tm)8450 Triple-Core Processor 2.10ghz
RAM: 3.00GB
GFXCard: Radeon HD 3200 graphics card, 256 MB.

Its in teh "Value" area of the HD3xxx Series

Are you asking why your comp can't play at all at that res? or are you asking why it doesn't run perfectly at that resolution?

Yeah, I'd say that the 3200 isn't quite fast enough to support that.

It may be using the source engine but L4D is a much beefier game then TF2 or CS:S.
