Video card must be 128MB or more and should be DirectX 9-compatible with support for pixel shader 2.0 (ATI 9600 or higher. Or NVIDIA 6600 or higher)
i took that straight from the box of L4D

Both your video card and RAM are considerably below what is needed to run the game. You need at least 1GB of RAM to even run the game - you only have 256MB.

go here: Can You Run It? Powered by System Requirements Lab to see if your computer can run left 4 dead, but by looking at your specs.. ram, vid card, and i think even your cpu are all under par.

Haha sry, forget Left 4 Dead. That computer is in desperate need of an upgrade if you want to play anything really... I'd start with Ram.

To be fairly Honest.... You need to upgrade everything. and although you can run wow on it (Classic only id wager) that doent mean you can run L4D. L4D is much more Graphicly Demanding. your looking at needing at least

    1 Gb Ram
    3.0Ghz Pentium 4
    Radeon 9600 / nVidia 6600
    [SIGPIC][/SIGPIC] E4600@3.22Ghz.:.ATi HD4870.:.6Gb DDR2 800.:.X-Fi Xtreme Gamer
