Thread: Lag Spikes

I tried opening the console and using the recommended console commands to filter my server search to ping<100 and I also tried joining servers with pings as low as 30 ms.

In all cases, I continue to have 7-10 second lag spikes every one to two minutes of game play. I did not have any problems of this sort up until about two weeks ago. I did install my Nvidia Geforce 260 around that time, but these are clearly lag spikes without graphical corruption of any kind (other players see my character "lag" as well).

I do use a wireless hub, but I also tried connecting directly to the 'Net to no avail. Does anyone have any ideas? My dxdiag file is attached.

I used to get this in many other games. All of those times it was down to my firewall. Try uninstalling it, restarting (important) and then reinstalling it.
