Blood harvest Crashing Problem
I have recently encountered a 'crashing' problem that only occurs when playing 'Blood Harvest'.
My computer instantly switches off after about 2 mins into the campaign. All other campaigns are unaffected, it is only 'Blood Harvest'. Subsequently, I have to reboot my machine and reconnect, but this now entails that I am currently unable to play 'Blood Harvest'.
I was wondering if this has happend to other players, and if they found a solution to it? There are a number of possible reasons why I think it is doing this, but I first want to guage other's responses before proceeding.
I am playing on XP, using a dual core Athlon, Nvidia chipset, a 8800 GT 1GB graphics card, and a X-Fire Fatlity 1 Champinonship Sound card. I have no other issues with any other intense graphic-usage games. All my drivers are up to date, including L4D patches.
Thanks

Firstly, the instant switch-off smells of an overheating issue to me. Investigate that first. Blood Harvest is probably the most graphics/processing intense map as it's outside, has a large number of objects etc. Try running a temp monitor program in the background.
Secondly, how long has it been doing it? Is it since a recent driver update etc? Have you used driversweeper or anything to clean up the old files?
Finally, have you tried verifying the content and uninstalling/reinstalling?
