Thread: CD Key NOT printed on quick reference card!

'That's impossible!'

Well,apperently it isn't. I bought a copy of Left 4 Dead today(Retail) and came home very anxiously because I wanted to play it so bad. So yeah,I was going to install it. When it asked for my product registration key I looked on the Quick Reference card. Nothing. The last sentence printed on it(aside from Valve's adress etc.) is '..To launch the installation.' Ok,Maybe it's inside the box. Nothing. On the DVD? Nope. It just isn't there. I asked a friend of mine who bought L4D 2 months ago and he said it should be printed on the Quick Reference Card,after the 'Installation help' text..But it just isn't there. What..the..FUCK?!

Is this a misprint or something?

I contacted Valve support so I'm hoping they can help me further.


I'm obliously very mad because I spent 50 hard earned €'s on a game I can't even play.


Can you guys help me? I'm desperate.
