    Well counter-strike : source has it (also created by VALVe) and it's not a permanent power-up - its just for that one round (just like CS:S, where you have to re-buy everything every round unless you don't die).

    RPG = usually upgrading a permanent character so you can be better.


    My idea = notching up your random SI for as long as you live, per round.

    It's not like buying "Shoot fireballs from hands as a boomer" to your Created Character (which is impossible via L4D), it's temporary upgrading and enhancing your gameplay experience.


    On the side note, perhaps the witch relocation or "buy menu" was a horrid idea - but there was a bunch of ideas. I wasn't asking you to pick the most horrible one and flame it - i was asking for feedback (probably on the ones you might have 2nd opinions on) and some of your ideas as well.

    I'd like to see the boomer be able to resist melee. I mean, he's at least 400 pounds, compared to those wimpy armed survivors. He shouldn't go flying down the hall when a survivor nudges him. Although, he should still move, just not that much.

    Yeah he does wabble abit far, but then every Infected has the faults, but thats to balance them out i guess.

    if the guy is too fat, if you just push him over slightly, and he will lose balance.
    even though boomer is a one big fatass, i think Francis, Louis, or maybe Bill can melee him hard enough.
