    very strange installation problem

    hi there,
    i'm trying to install left4dead.
    once the install says finished i then click on the exe icon to begin and it just shows the installation box again and automatically begins the installation process.
    i've deleted the game and tried to re-install it but this keeps happening

    have you tried running the game from steam instead (unless you already are)?
