Thread: Need Help! Game Crashes - Graphics Problem

Hi everyone. Well this just started happeneing about a week ago. After about 20 minutes of playing the game I start to see these big squares flier through the game in different spots. Or the outline of objects does the same thing. After about another 10 minutes the game locks up and i get the looping sounds and have to shut down the game. This has only recently started happening.

I have downgraded to an older version of Nvidia drivers like the other post suggests. I have also lowered my graphic and sound setting in the game but it is still doing it.

It seems like if i shut down the computer then go back in and try and play i might get in 30 minutes or so of playtime. I have cleaned out the compyer of dust made sure the fan was working properly on the video card.

Can anyone offer some help?

AMD 64 4000
2 GB RAM
GeForce Ultra 6800 256MB

It sounds like you have already tried the obvious stuff. I suppose it is possible you may have a corrupted file somewhere. Maybe try deleting L4D and re-installing it?
