you can actually open up the sound waves and play them (pc that is)...there are some wicked noises

But i read somewhere before that if you do listen closely a man zombie does actually say a sentance but its really really mumbly. I couldnt hear it myself but people swear by it.

Yeah they can speak english... Just it's hard to understand

And tbh, i don't exactly go up to an infected and be like

OH HAI.. WANNA TALK

Actually the game is based in the future where people have started talking like they type on the internet...The 4 survivors just talk like we do so the zombies won't know where all the pills are.

So yes, while it is hard to understand them, the infected do indeed speak english... sometimes.

It's quite possible that that is a phenomenon known as audio pareidolia, whereby one hears things that aren't really there -- akin to visual pareidolia, such as finding ghosts in pictures and stuff.

I swear that sometimes the zombies speak in Spanish, but I'm pretty sure it's just gibberish that I am putting Spanish phrases on to.

Then either I'm hallucinating or I heard a Boomer say, "Orrgy"

Only thing i've ever heard the boomer say is "Ow...!"
