question about the witch...
well, normally when i get the auto-shotgun if there's a witch that we can't sneak past i just run up behind it and shoot it 3 times in the back. recently that hasn't been working, so i just figured i missed the last shot or something, since my aim has been off recently. although someone told me that it was patched and the witch can't be killed that way anymore (unless you get a head shot of course) is that true? i play on the xbox, and i don't remember getting any patches recently unless it came in the last patch and i just didn't notice.
so does anyone know if that was fixed?build a man a fire and he will be warm for the night,
set a man on fire and he will be warm for the rest of his life.

Best is to sneak behind her, go up against her, aim right above her head and fire once her face comes in your crosshair. Not her back or shoulder, but her face.

You can still cr0wn the witch. I don't actually headshot because when i did that most of the pellets would miss. you have to run up on her point blank with the autoshotty and fire a shot or two directly into her. I like to wait til she starts growling and tries to stand up before. It is possible to kill her like that. Do it all the time.

Autoshotgun does roughly 600 damage pointblank to the witch (Shotgun does x 2.5 Damage point blank vs witch) and she has 1000 Health so a quick 2 shots to her body takes her out and is ussualy a much safer and quicker option. Not much aim is required just run straight in and spam 2 shots.
With the pump though its ussualy better to get 1hit/kill as it has less damage and slower rate of fire and you need every pellet to hit for both shots or you screwed.

Every now and then it seems like she goes down in 1 shot on advanced, but usually it takes 2-3 quick ones on adv/exp. Either way it's the same result. Doesn't matter where she's looking, as long as you're right next to her, aiming properly, and have a quick trigger finger.
