what really makes me pissed is that i actually enjoyed the shitbox360...but the hassle was just...well hassle.

Ive got a PS3 and....well...as a console machine its okay but it aint as good as the 360

Im thinking about getting a 360 again....but i dont want to give microsoft anymore of my money!
I might write them a really eeeevill letter and try and get one for free!

I don't see how 360 is a better console than the ps3. I'm not knocking the 360 it has great games, but i've heard they pretty much have a 100% fail rate over 3 years (red ring of death) Any good game I want to play that comes out for the 360 (Mostly first party) usually comes out on the PC, a little later. The wait is usually worth it cause developers use the time to fix or enhance the game. Some examples are Gears of War, Mass Effect, Last Remnant. I'm looking forward to Fable 2 and GOW2 and Halo3 eventually.

Now my PS3 gets exclusives that you can't play if you have a PC and a 360, like MGS4, Resistance 1 + 2, MLB the show, Killzone 2 ect. I also have been buying and watching blu rays for 2 years now which are amazing on a HDD set and surround system.

I know this is a L4D board and not a fanboy rant board so i'll bring this back to L4D. Now i'll admit XBOX live has a better social network than PSN, but I still think it can't touch the PC when it comes to social gaming which has been doing it for much longer. So even if I had a 360 i'd get L4D for PC, SDK, quicker patch updates, and easier access to clans and what make it a better game IMO on the PC.

I've had my xbox since it came out. You people play it too much and let it overheat, being careless with your products. Thats how you get the 3RROD take better care of your shit next time and it won't happen.

lol if only it was just that.

My brother got his on launch and the moment he plugged it in he got the red rings...nothing to do with over heating or not taking care!

Its a borked machine - no if's not but's and no coconuts! (American Dad)

But indeed many people have been lucky and had no problems.
