the easiest way to deal with a tank is to throw a pipebomb, or at least a molo in direction of the common infected, and then concentrate fire on the tank.

I find the biggest problem in Survival is that youll be doing fine, killing tanks fine and covering each other, and then ONE smoker pull kills your position, and you all die.

Anywhere can be a good survival place really. A good place for me is a place where the Infected can only get in 1 way, but it can prove to be a death trap when Tanks come, so at least make sure you can get out into an open space when he does make his enterance.
Other then that, you'll need a good team. Who listenings.

Nuuu, don't go outside especially near the cliffs, the tank will pwn your team faster. If the tank fails, the smokers and hunters will get your team.

Instead, bring shotguns only and spray everything into the tank when it arrives. Then switch to pistols only during CI mobs.

This. 4x shotties unloading on a tank in close quarters is gg. I did it in the corner near the bathroom and those 2 breakable walls on each side. Tanks didnt pose much of a problem, just had to be real mindful of double tank spawns, making sure everyone was targeting the same tank at any one time.
