Local Server
Anyone knows how to make a local server with low ping?
Normally when I make a local server the ping is around 500+
Can I set up some kind of port forward in order to get a low ping?
Computer spec
CPU: Intel I7
RAM: 6 gb
Gfx: 4870x2
OS: Vista 64 bit
Connection: 20 mbit download, 2 mbit upload
As you can see the computer got plenty of power.

Your ping depends on 2 things. First is the computer you are running it on. Because L4D is multicore, it'll use everything you give it. Therefore there is not really overhead to run a server properly. In other words, you should have a dedicated server, not the machine you are playing L4D on. The second thing is bandwidth/internet connection. If you have less than 100 kilobytes upload per second, I would NOT run an L4D server as you will not be able to send enough information, which ups your ping. That translates to better than 768 kbps upload. You can test at Speedtest.net - The Global Broadband Speed Test
If you are playing survival or co-op you can cut those numbers roughly in half.
Remember, your computer is using everything it has to play L4D, so no matter how powerful it is it won't help you to run a server very well.Gaming, it's wuts for dinner :P
