What were the special infected before they were zombies?

anyone have any ideas?
Witch- IDK, single mom that was a widow?
Tank- probably a dude that took steroids or was in body building.
Hunter- looks like a graffiti tagger type or homeless dude.
Smoker- obvious.
Boomer- lazy couch potato.

these are just my ideas of what they once were.
share yours, lets see if we can find some logical answers

The only reason they look the way they are is because of the mutations of the infection. The Tank, as far as I know, could have looked like Steve Urkel.
