    Mic Problems

    hi guys,
so lately in game i cant hear any team mics. i can see the logo in the lobby (when they talk), but the blip in-game doesnt appear. they can hear me fine. ive tried cranking the receive volume and turning down the game and sxf volume, ive re-installed twice (once by deleting local files, once through modify/remove programs in control panel), i've reset default buttons but nothing seems to work.

    thanks

I don't have Vista, but it is my understanding that it will allow you to assign specific applications to certain sound devices. Maybe poke around your control panel and see what you can find.

Try renaming your CONFIG.CFG file to CONFIG.OLD, and then start the game and remap your keys if necessary, and see if that makes a difference. If not, then you can rename that file back to the original name.
