    I'm playing Coach for sure.

I'm thinking this WILL be the intro, mainly because it ends with them in a mall, which we know is Dead Center, the first campaign.

    Hmm...

For a trailer I guess it's all right, it focuses entirely on the action aspect of L4D instead of the creepy part. The opening cinematic should be dramatic, not gun-hoe "let's shoot the shit out of everything we see because we think zombie apocalypses are a bad joke".

Quite frankly, "survivors" who are trying to "survive" don't charge into zombie hordes throwing punches screaming "this used to be a nice neighborhood!".

It's just a little over the top, you know? Almost laughable.

I wouldn't be surprised this is actually the official intro movie, but who cares, we just watch it once and every since then we press ESC button. I would be only more impressed with even more content.

Ok, first off, Left 4 Dead isn't a serious game, it makes fun of itself and tries to be a zombie movie, the games meant to be enjoyed and to be funny and action packed, not a serious survival movie. It's totally the right mood of Left 4 Dead.

Wow. It looks SO much better than L4D1.

The graphics for the movie sequences are really good too.

Looks like L4D2 is going to be another hit for Valve!

That was awesome! Valve just can't make a bad game can they?

Oh yeah, I get Nick because I called him ever since I saw him in the first gameplay videos.

OK, I can understand your point of view a bit better now. Very valid points.

But as a previous post pointed out, L4D is not supposed to be taken to seriously.........kinda tongue-in-cheek. Anyway, like most people here, I dont think this is the opening sequence. Although it could be the opening cinematic of each map and they have been mixed together for this trailer. Makes sense because there are to many different uncommon common infected (mudmen, clowns etc) that are supposed to be found in different maps put together in this one video. I guess we will find out soon though!

I think this game will be more like modern Zombie movies, opposed to L4D1 which was like the older zombie movies.

    Old zombie movies = Creepy
New zombie movies= Action every where

The new SI will surely spice things up. You will have to think on your feet a lot more. Should be a blast!

Also, does anyone else think that Coach looks like Uncle Phil from the 'Fresh Prince of Bel Air'? Not that Im complaining, I just thinks its kinda funny.

I assume because he's the one that was pretty much like "kill everyone", as everyone else was being more cautious. So he got caught in a lot more unopportunistic places.

Am I the only one who finds this to be absolute garbage? It kills the mood of L4D entirely, its not even Valve's style of cinematic.

I'm gonna go with yes you are, and an epic fail on top of that.

Uh, no. Just no. I'm assuming they're probably quite pissed that they're pretty much the only ones alive in the world and the family, and the team Coach coaches is dead. I'd be quite angry too. Think.

Anyways, I probably did skeet when I saw this video just like everyone else. It made me like Rochelle a little more, besides her lookin quite good. And I like everybodys personality now. I'm calling Uncle Phil for sure.
