    Felt like posting again in response to my old post. I've been playing a lot more lately and I heard him speak and rant "Oh <<NAME>> (I think it was Frank? It was the name of the guy who turned and bit him), I can't believe he bit me, he bit, how could he bite me?!" and crap like that, so yeah, he was infected and turned, some say he screams as he turns, although I can't hear that over me and my friends firing shotguns and machine guns.

    He doesn't scream really, he just keeps trying to say better safe than sorry while the transformation is taking place. Makes it sound like hes trying so hard to fight the infection but in the end he just can't, next time you do it when the hordes down just stand outside the door and listen.

    He becomes either a smoker, boomer, or hunter.He becomes infected from the previous guy he let in.Thats why he says better safe then sorry.So when you come he doesnt trust you so he rings the bell, trying to kill you.
