Exclamation I HAVE a MACBOOK and I want to play L4D !! HELP PLS

Alright here's the deal. I have a macbook pro i bought almost about a year ago.
Specs: Macbook Pro 2.4ghz Dual Core , NVidia GeForce 8600M GT , 4GB of Ram

So Far I have downloaded Crossover and It lets me run Steam on my Mac OSx but then when I launch Left 4 Dead, the intro movie plays etc. then it loads to the main menu. But when I get to the main menu I dont see any writing or text everything is invisible. All I see is the background and the music playing and thats it!

So please help me, if theres another way I can play left4dead or anything to help. Thank You!

What else can i do to play ??

Try, as best as you can, to click options, then video, then change the resolution. If you cant, we have a plan B.

There is a file in the CFG folder called VIDEO.TXT, and if you delete it or rename it, it will recreate itself at lower settings. Or you can edit it directly to change your settings.
