l4d2 is very easy. It's people that make the game hard. 3 very basic things u need to do, and many fail to understand. Everything else will come naturally.

    1. Stay close, in a loose formation, never separate too far.
    2. Always cover your team mates. (i.e. shoot of normals, cover them if they are wounded, pounced, smokered, etc).
    3. Always nominate a leader and have everybody follow him. If you're the leader, watch the front, watch the team.

Remember, your greatest enemy is really poor team work.

The main reason i play L4D 1 is

-multiple hunter spawns. I luv being able to use a hunter 5-6 times per level. I hate not getting to use MY SI when playing L4D2 because of all the other SI that im forced to use. I stopped playing L4d1 for like 2 months when L4D2 came out and boy where my Hunter skills getting soft.. Thank god i started play part 1 again to get me back up to where i wanna be.

-NO MELEE WEAPONS... Which means respect the horde and tanks.

-No bullshit 17 second respawns where you captilize off your own incap.

    - I don't have to constantly be moving around to avoid being caught in a bad spot and being spit on. I don't have to fear staying in a room for a few seconds to avoid being spit on or charged every 2 seconds..

    - I luv the health bonus... Theres no stress on how far the other team gets in VS as long as you stop them.

Not only that but, but how you handle yourselfs as survivors In L4D1 is totally different in L4D2. And the same goes for SI ambushes.

In left 4 dead 1 your better of staying close... In Left 4 Dead 2 your better off with a fair amount of distance between each other.

Bottom line is this.. they aren'the same game.. And im glad they aren't. Cause when i get bored of one, i can just play the other one because they are totally different styles of play.
You are listing the little changes made in the sequel but the overall game play and style is the same between both. You collect guns to kill zombies to survive or you try to kill the survivors.

Swapping l4d maps into l4d2 game has nothing to do with all that stuff above. You just play the l4d2 game mode and characters with l4d maps. It's like downloading a DLC with new maps. I don't see why it would be retarded to use the characters of l4d2 in a l4d map.

How about this? Liking a game is opinion based, and you can't change another person's mind about it. No need to argue over a video game.

Dude these games are amazing. Play through a campaign on l4d 1 and 2. they are a little different. you should of just bought l4d2. more monsters, better maps, more weapons. l4d1 is more for hardcore fans, like me. Bill4Life!

As someone who doesn't play L4D/2 that much , and when I do play it , I only play versus , I can tell you that playing L4D maps on L4D2 would't be the same as playing L4D , just on L4D2 .

During versus , I do feel the maps in each game are different . L4D one offered more rooftops and areas that included a lot of 25 damage pounces , which I dont find much of in L4D2 .

Another difference , a bigger difference though ....

-multiple hunter spawns. I luv being able to use a hunter 5-6 times per level. I hate not getting to use MY SI when playing L4D2 because of all the other SI that im forced to use. While I'm playing L4D2 , it's always the same thing , me cross-fingers that i'm gonna use the Original Infected . Yes , ORIGINAL , infected . I feel that the new infected are very weak and slightly dull to use , not including the charger . The jockey really feels weak , unless I'm playing against a team which seems to be unaware of their team mate getting their head humped by a zombie.

The spitter feels kinda weird too . Me sitting there , waiting for my teammates to attack so I can help . When they do attack , *spit* , and wait for the damage to happen . And the spitter either deals really heavy damage , or barely even touches them .

My main probelm here is that while I'm playing L4D , I always feel like im learning new spots and skills for the 3 SI , but with 6 SI , what you are going to spawn with is somewhat unpredictable .
