Use the CD Key on the back of the manual to activate it on Steam.

    DVD r?

as in a Recordable DVD? Valve dont distribute there games in stores that way,

But if you Mean DVD then check it reads other DVD's especially test with a DVD Movie as there dual layer, this will rule out it being the drive.

Otherwise contact Steam or the store where you bought it, maybe Steam can add the CDKey from the box to your account and you can download it.

Edit: Alright thanks I have everything setup except for I need about 4,000 more MB I deleted as many programs as I could and I bet I could get it if my brothers WoW didn't take up over 21,000 MB :/

Eh, he doesn't really like me messing with it, and I don't know how to delete the patches so I think I'll just use the disk cleanup tool and delete my system restore points and see how much room I get.
