Francis IMO, is an annoying rude, pessimistic jerk. I don't like him and i have the right to do so.

The tagline is a little under done.

He doesn't seem to understand what is socially acceptable or polite, so he just kind of says whatever he wants. Really, the multiple levels of this series' characters are impressive, especially for a first person shooter. You have to listen to them, they don't just throw their whole personality out there for everyone to see. Like real people.

Not trying to convince you to love Francis, just putting my thoughts on him out here because we seem to be debating his lovableness.

Though, if you guys have seen, in the original L4D cutscene Louis DOES make all of the mistakes. he startles the witch, his bullet sets off the car alarm, he runs off on his own chasing the helicopter and gets pounced by a hunter, and he's the guy who loudly screams in terror at the zombies, without even knowing that he should run and shoot at the same time. I think he's portrayed as one of the, "Noobs" of the group in that cutscene. Perhaps having him die would be a way of redeeming himself?

Or Bill sacrifices himself...

I thought it was the hunter that set off the car, its dead body hits it.

il will agree his character has a lot of roundness for a game, but that doesnt stop me from disliking him.
I he is so nice he should show it. its not cool to act like a jerk to hide your feelings or impress someone.
plus he is an egomaniac.


Something i need to add.
Arent all of the survivors immune, so that would mean he/she couldnt die from a infection, unless he was mauled or something.
Or maybe you think one of them were hiding the fact they were infected?
