1st time I ever seen a A.I. tank in Left 4 dead 1 he incapped 2 players with a car.
And the last campaign i played on the passing i saw the A.I. tank litterally bash 4 cars down the alley way at us...
And as far as tanks of fire goes..... Does anyone hate it when a tank gets lit on fire and decides to run in at the survivors and die in seconds?
I mean, i understand being lit on fire means you only have a certain amount of time to live. But that doesn't mean you have to run in at the survivors. You'd be suprised at how long you can actually burn and stay alive for if you don't run in and eat bullets at a bad time.!!!WiCkEd VOooOdooooO TerRrroRR!!!

Vooodu:
I hate when the tank is lit on fire and decides to rush in regardless of the situation :/
When i'm lit (my accident, getting on fire before taking control, nice molotov toss) I think how I can deal as much damage as I can before I die. When there is no possibility of high damage I try to throw rocks and hide somewhere to prevent survivors from moving ahead as long as I can. If i don't kill them i'm going to delay them ^^
And i haven't thought that the AI of Tank was fixed in L4D2 xD
I have played only DC and The Passing because i bought the game few days ago(doing it on expert first so I can enjoy the maps to the fullest for my first time). My "Being accused of cheating" counter:
L4D1 - 18
L4D2 - 2

Sure, the ai tank can hit objects but what I was trying to say is that player-controlled tanks can hit objects whenever they want and more proficiently. Ai tanks usually only hit them when they spawn. Like when the tank spawns next to the alarm car on da2 and next to the cart on da5.
