How do the other survivors get credit for one of your kills?
Maybe this has been posted before but I don't know.
When playing this game in single player mode I've noticed something odd.
Sometimes when I kill one of the special infected one of the other survivors gets credit for it instead of me.
How's that possible? A glitch in the game?
Or perhaps something else?
Is the one who gives the last finishing blow or bullet ( coup de grace) the one who gets credit for the kill?

I've broken it down into a simple formula.
Bullet A is fired at boomer.
Bullet B is fired at boomer.
Bullet A travels 1/100 faster than Bullet B
Boomer is killed by Bullet A.
Guy who fired Bullet B rants about how it was his kill
lolz Understand? We don't let people choose what color gun they want for a reason. Gay Mercenaries.

Yno, for l4d this really doesnt bother me too much, I mean yeah sure its like :what the hell, that was so my kill: since you did 99.9% of the damage and they happened to shoot at the last second. The important thing is, the SI is dead & no longer a threat. I choose not to think twice about it.
now if you REALLY want to get pissy over a "stolen" kill, try halo. It doesnt even give assists like cod. going from cod to halo is awful, its like WHAT THE TIT. wheres my assist!? ohwait...
