    Game Is acting weird

Ok when i start L4D2 it goes through the valve stuff then when it gets to showing the icons on the menu they are all white squares with a diagonal line. it does this for all icons and when i choose a mode it loads with the square and line insead of load bar and when it gets to the end the game freezes. What do i do to fix this?

I don't have an xBox, but some of the folks that do suggest installing it to your hard drive, if you haven't already.
