Leaving a teammate behind is only a good move if it's saving the other 3 and there is no way to risk because everyone is Red. Also, when a Crescendo arrives on Expert and everyone is bad in health, just run better one to make it than none at all.
I wanted you to know, that by reading this signature you have wasted approximately 6.235 seconds of your life.

I ditched all of the bastards in the saferoom last night at the bridge and solo'd it so I could get my bridge over trebled slaughter achievement.
-> Otherwise in serious gameplay I won't ditch people. I sometimes do run 10 or 15 feet ahead though to clear the area. I have a very aggressive style of play and I hate seeing commons, as soon as I see one, I *have* to kill it.[s]L4D - PC & Xbox 360[/s]

I would. I just run, run, run... I don't even really care. Probably the only exception I've had since I got it was saving AI nick, he got through the bridge and was so close to the chopper... I just had to. If somebody is helping me, I don't abandon them, they usually come with me or I follow them. Also, on the Bridge, I really just... run like hell! I hide inside a truck when the tank comes, and then I run like a Jockey's riding me. By the way, how do you resist a Jockey ride?

In contrast I love to rape those survivors who left their partners behind, mostly with hunter or respawning in front of them with jockey or charger. Bad thing they never score well and usually ragequit.
I don't care if my team loses because I did help someone. If it's 1-2 men down and you left, there's still possibility to survive, and you have this extra players to cover Si respawn spots. If it's 3 down and you run, it's 20m, you get pounced by hunter and get 10 + points instead trying to actually win.

Edward isn't a vampire. He lives in the forest, he doesn't eat people and he sparkles. He's obviously a fairy.

I actually think it's hilarious to grab someone who is way too far ahead as a hunter and watch him rage quit. If I'm really feeling like a dick, I'll message said player saying "What did you think was going to happen?"

I only play versus and will only run if I KNOW there is no chance of rescuing my teamates. There have been times where I should have ran and others where had I stayed we would have all lived. If Im playing on a team that has mic's I'll ask if they think i SHOULD RUN OR STAY. iF THEY SAY NO THEN i DONT RUN, BUT IF THEY SAY RUN FOR IT, i ruN LIKE hELL.

Depends. If he was a team player and help the team out then ya. I always try my best to help them even when there a hoard and a tank.
If he one of those retards with no awareness skill that plague the left for dead community, then I don't care if they die. I would be happy if one of those guys get charged or smoker since that give me more time to run.
So I don't feel bad when I leave noobs behind but I do feel bad when I leave good players or decent newbs behind.
