Thread: Funniest Way You Died?

Hard Rain, last map: Spitter spits on the dock and I'm black and white. Already attempted to heal myself twice only to be nailed by SIs. Decide to make a run for it. I run through the spit, I die one step out of the boat, my body goes limp and falls on to the boat.

I have a few funny stories to share:

1) Playing on Single Player Campaign, at Dead Center. At the beginning part, my team and I walk out onto a ledge of the building and walk about the outside of the building and a Charger pops out of one of the windows and runs each and every one of us off the edge of the building. So much for surviving.

2) At the very end of Dark Carnival, a team of strangers and I are almost to the helicopter. First Coach jumps in, then I jump in with Gnome Chompski. Not a moment later, a tank throws a boulder into my face, incapacitates me, and everyone wins the campaign without the Guardin' Gnome achievement. Thanks one heck of a lot, suspiciously accurate bots.

3) By this point, I think every AI is after me. I'm playing Swamp Fever, and I'm in a giant lead in front of my teammates. I somehow manage to make it to the safehouse, in which I planned to sit there and wait for them. Little did I know that a witch had decided to make my safehouse home to herself. I forgot to shut the door, ignored the constant crying and screaming, and found myself in a room with an angry witch. That's what I get for skipping out on my responsibilities.

Charged Out a Window, but then one of my teammates walks up to the window and says "Keeewwwwllll..."

This didn't happen to me, but I witnessed it. We were on the Swamp Fever finale and there was only two of us left. I was sitting on the boat covering my friend with my Magnum (I ran out of ammo) who was limping towards the boat, black and white. As they were about to reach the boat, I see a charger running towards him. I connected about 5 shots into it, but had to reload. It was to late. The charger charged into my teammate, slammed him into the side of the boat, and he died from the impact. *Boat drives off*
