Gamebattles is the only way to finish over 20% of games if you're looking to play more than once a week. It's great that you guys are setting up matches on this site, but there's not so many people. On gb you have 100+ people who play just about daily.
And gb players don't really glitch. Any glitch that matters would get you an automatic match loss, and maybe banned from the site. If you're seeing glitches it's nowhere near 70% of the time, either the team is practising or just fucking around. Most players outside of GB are just fucking around as well, so I don't know why it's worse when good players do it.
Turn it around and you'll see that gb players get shittalked to all the time for no other reason other than they're gb. We get kicked from lobbies once recognized, accused of using aimbots, and get all kinds of false complaints filed. Most gamers are douchebags, it has little to do with gb.

The only real beefs I have with GB players are...
1) ...the lack of respect you get from high-ranking GB players in pub games (this is where I find the glitching comes into play). I've played a few GB teams the whole way through a pub game before, got pounded into the ground on every round, but still stuck in 'til the finale, giving everything. Then, no sooner does the finale begin than the GB team will either a) kill themselves or b) quit out (I can give you names and examples if you want them). Now I know a pub-game will never be taken as seriously as a proper GB match, but still I compare my GB experiences to games I've had against non-GB teams, clans and groups of friends (again, names if you want them), where I've done the same thing, and the least I ususally end up with is a positive comment or friend request.
2) ... the blatant flaming that goes on against new-comers on the forum section of the GB L4D ladder. I've seen a couple of guys join the ladder recently and post a legitimate inquiry (help with achievements etc.), only for the entire community to take the piss out of them. At least on L4Dforums you can be assured that someone will respond to such an inquiry positively.
I'm sorry, I know I'm making generalisations based on my experiences, but it seems a lot of people I talk to are of the same opinion. Again, as I've said already, I don't want to start a flame war with you guys (hell, I'm sure you've got some bitches about the folk on L4Dforums too- I know we moan about and accuse you guys all the time). And I do have a lot of respect for the top GB players, who I know I can only ever aspire to play like. I also have friends on GB teams who, whilst a bit arrogant about their status, are good mates and have a lot of time for casuals like me. I just wish the majority of GB players were the sameRIP Mike Starr
