IMO if you want to play those mutations it is fairly simple to pick up the weapon and use it in regular campaign mode. Mutations like Hard 8 and Versus Survival can not be replicated in other game modes.

Seriously, you've summed up everything that the pants-on-head retarded xbox players should have thought of before they picked the worst mutations over the best ones. And to add on to your last statement, isn't there a handful of Survival VS maps actually have said weapons? Specifically, The Port has all 3 of the special tier weapons in the bar and guess what? It's a guaranteed drop, anyone is bound to have their fun with the M60 and the chainsaw sooner or later.

This is the number one reason why I want to get a steam account. If the xbox community is too stupid to know a good mutation when they see one, why even bother playing with them if all they want is to run though a campaign on easy mode revving their chainsaws or firing their M60s forever?

Setup makes it a shit load better, as now the infected don't have to watch the survivors set up for 15 minutes to be taken down in less than 2. (This happened to every survivor team i played on when this was out!)

yeah I agree. we've had chainsaw massacre 3 times now. I only got to play gib fest once and I really want to play it again.
