The Sacrifice and No Mercy scavenge maps

Has anyone played the new scavenge maps that come with the DLC for L4D2? The Sacrifice has two maps based on its levels, I think one is based on the area with all the brick stacks, and the other is at the port. There are also two new scavenge maps for No Mercy- the Rooftop (as in rooftop finale), and the Apartments (yes, they really did make a scavenge map out of the first level of NM )

So far the only one I have played is the apartments. It is much different than all of the other scavenge maps. There are 22 cans to collect, they are all located very close to each other, there are lots of narrow alleys and hallways where cans are located that the Spitter and Charger can mess your team up in (takes place out in the street once you exit the alleys). There is also an alarmed car around the corner. I like it.

yea I just love all of the sacrifice scavenge maps they have to be my favorites I just don't like the rooftop cuz it seems to easy as long as all of the survivors stay together. I think the sewer would have been epic

yeah, the rooftop is easy if you know what you're doing, but pretty hard against an infected team that knows exactly what to do! most of the time we're playing for speed, 21 cans isn't usually a problem, you jus gotta go faster than the other team!

barge is another favourite, though i don't often see the map cleared.

apartments is fun as long as you stick together and know when to go for the cans near the car / subway entrance.

brick factory though, ugh, that map makes my head hurt. i just don't like it. :P

Rooftop is the only one I like really. It's no fun if you can't insta kill someone and send them flying off 30 stories.

Intsa Killing people is boring . Especially on No Mercy Roof 5 Tops.

    And... Especially on Scavenge.

Keep killing SI until you get a smoker and charger. Keep pulling people into the same spot near the same cans to set up for a charge. If you practice a few games you can pull it off really fast.. Over and Over.

This is NOT what L4D is about..And is a major reason i avoid scavenge and playing on NM roof top.

I can somewhat agree with this. Instant kills are fun, but I don't like having a detailed set-up for them. If I get one, whoop-de-do. I'll keep playing after that.

However, I do enjoy scavenge. I feel like it's a fun and shorter mode to play than versus. Yes, it can be annoying sometimes, but isn't every mode? I think the new scavenge maps are fun. I am looking forward to see how they will incorporate scavenge into the rest of the L4D1 campaigns; maybe a scavenge arena on/around the Crane on Dead Air?
