Thread: How do you complete The Sacrifice single-player?

I get onto the bridge at the end, use the machine gun and molotovs, blow up a stockpile of explosives that I've painstakingly carried there from around the level on the tanks, and even managed to kill all 4 tanks (just) before my AI companions were all dead.

After 8 attempts I enabled God mode and still didn't manage it the first time, because my AI companions walked or were pushed off the bridge and weren't bright enough to restart the generator, leaving me to jump down and thus lose as no one was on the bridge. 2nd time on God mode we did it!

I watched a walkthrough vid and they have the same problem - dead companions - followed by the vid ending "well that s*cks" or something like that lol. So has anyone done it with the silly AI people, and if so how?

That's an idea. I haven't tried just leaving my allies to it and jumping down while they fight. I'll try that

I found the way to do it was to get on the bridge and pull the lever then immediately jump down and restart the generator - before the tanks reach the breach. It worked on easy, haven't tried it with AI players only on harder levels.

I always wondered if you can beat it on your own. Thought you had to have at least one other person. You really just have to jump down and die? That don't look dignified!!!

Sacrificing only counts as a death Stat-wise. In single player, you will have to Sacrifice. It says you've died in the credits, but it does end the campaign.

I set-up fire blocks for the run to the generator if I'm a lone with bots. Save fire for the run and set it off ASAP as soon as you pull the lever. If your fast enough the bots will stay on the bridge.

The fire really helps out because it keeps the CIs from slowing you down.

The ai is way too stupid. on harder difficulties the stupid ai makes the game impossible
