[Info_Map_Parameters] How is it works exactly?
Hi all,
I have a quick question concerning the entity called "info_map_parameters".
I know this entity make the liaison between the Director and the number of items we would see in our campaign but I don't know how exactly it works.
I also know that I have to write this in my console :
director_solve_item_density
And I read that this command will help me :
"Pass the number of items you'd want in this map and this spits out the map density value."
But...I always don't know how it works...
Am I supposed to write "director_solve_item_density" "pills" and let the game decide for myself on how many pills it think I should have in the map (so I copy/paste a number to my info_map_parameters entity - this is an example, it said nothing if I write that)?
And what about the "configurable Weapon Spawn density" (which is a parameter of the info_map_parameters entity)?
How can I have the good and perfect parameter in this?
For example, if I set "-1" all my weapons will spawn and when I try to change the value I have not enough weapon in my map...I don't know if the value must be between 1 to 10 or between 1 to 100 ??
Well, if you have a good, clear and better answer than what I saw I take it now
