Twisting my words there a bit mate... I'm not saying that noob is synonymous with auto shotgun, but that noobs tend to rely on it because of its rate of fire and large clip. For the record if you have t2's (especially auto shotguns) you really shouldn't be dying at all. Auto shotguns are so over powered a team of four of them doesn't take much skill to use them, someone gets pinned? Point in that direction and spray. Someone's getting pulled by a smoker? Point and spray. Horde's coming in? Point and spray. Doesn't take much to clear. Also auto shotguns have two more pellets than pump iirc. It gets the job done but does it make the game fun? Maybe in a pub, but really?

I think i might get what your talking about "hiding behind the Auto-Shottie". I think ur saying like people who would hide in a corner and start spamming the auto shottie (or a group of people in some cases.)?
