Thread: Weapon Skin Question

Hello. I made a golden guns skin for FPSBANANA, but Everyone keeps complaining that it has no shine. is there a way to add shine to the gun??

a custom normal map or custom ref map will add the shine you are looking for.custom ref maps are very easy to make....custom normal maps are a bit harder but have benefit of adding depth that a ref map cant.

i dl'ed youre skin pack and fixed only the uzi reskin to serve as an example of how to make it shine. i added a ref map (and the vmt needed to support it) to add the shine youre looking for. hope this example helps. message me when you dl so i can remove it from my site.
