    sound mods not working

    I downloaded/installed sound mods for weapons for L4D2. They work great for local games, and if it wasn't for the bots being so poorly programmed and useless for expert, I would play local games more often. So I go online to play em. Problem is the mods won't work online. Can anyone provide a good idea as to why?

    valve servers block all addons.
