Question about different accounts on the same xbox.
I play L4D2 on the xbox360 and me and my sister each have our own seperate xbox live accounts. My sister and I are prepared to go halves on 4200 microsoft points to buy the L4D2 expansions (The Passing etc.)
What we want to know is, if I were to purchase the expansions on my account, would she be able to play them on her account?
She'd be using the same HDD as me so the maps would be on there.
Would she need to have my account signed in to xbox live in order to access them or is the fact they're on the HDD enough for them to be played?
Thanks

I think you should be okay. I remember my ex-girlfriend and I were in a similar situation where we used the same Xbox but different GTs and I'm pretty sure we were able to play the DLCs even if only one of us had bought it. The people on this thread over at 360achievements.org seem to agree.
Might be good if someone else from the forums could verify it though, don't want to give you info that turns out to be incorrect.RIP Mike Starr

She can play the DLC but your account must remain active and on the Xbox (either HDD or memory card). The content will be tied to your account and the Xbox itself.
If at some point in the future you decided to get a new Xbox you'll be able to transfer the DLC to the new console through the Xbox live website. You can only do this one time per year. You can not transfer the content between two live accounts, which I found out the hard way about a year ago. >.>
