Thread: Cannot play with friend, get booted from server

I recently bought a 2nd copy of L4D, using a 2nd steam account. I have two computers at home (laptop and desktop). Yesterday, I was able to play with a friend just fine, but today it seems only one of us connected when we start a new game. If I try to reconnect then my friend gets booted.

Also, I am having a freezing issue with L4D, and L4D2 (but not nearly as bad). What happens is that my character freezes, and repeats whatever he/she was doing, but everything around me keeps moving normally. So if was shooting when it happened, then I continue to shoot over and over for 2-4 seconds.

maybe you should uninstall one of your'e copies of l4d i can be that your'e first copy is interfering with your'e second copy

and for the freezing error make sure you laptop or desktop can run the game if you don't now it perfectly google can you run it and search for left 4 dead and if you are sure you can run it try lowering the graphics
